EUDET

The European grant RII3-026126 EUDET "Detector R&D towards the International Linear Collider" supports the development of infrastructures for the detector at the ILC under the 6th Framework Programme "Structuring the European Research Area". More than 30 European laboratories participate in the grant in years 2006-9. Our activities in calorimetry belong to the Joint Research Activity JRA3 "Infrastructure for Calorimeters". Our main tasks in EUDET are the following:

• the construction of the VME stand for the measurements of signals from optical detectors - done in 2006
• development of two channel LED driver for the technical TileHCAL prototype - done in 2007
• development and delivery of the Si sensors with 5 x 5 mm² pads for ECAL - in 2009
